DRUMS - PERCUSSION
Wayne Brannon
EARLY LIFE:
Wayne Brannon was raised on the backroads of Greer, South Carolina, where rhythm found him early. As a kid, every car ride was a concert — oldies on the radio and his hands keeping time on whatever surface was closest. That instinct for the beat followed him into middle school, where a stint in the percussion section and a friendship with a fellow drummer led to his first kit at age 12. He never looked back.
Through his teens, Wayne honed his craft on real stages with a high school rock band that recorded original music and worked the small venue circuit. It was the kind of road education that no classroom can replicate — and it laid the foundation for a drumming career now spanning three decades.
MUSICAL CAREER:
Wayne brings that wealth of experience to The Country Masters, anchoring the band with power, precision, and an unmistakable passion for the pocket. Behind the kit, he's the engine — and with The Country Masters firing back up, he's ready to roll for wherever the road leads next.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Off the stage, Wayne is a devoted family man — married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley, and proud father to their son, Anthony. For Wayne Brannon, the beat never stops. And the road ahead looks better than ever.
